I grew up in Abilene, Tx where my mother was a teacher/coach and my dad worked for an Oilfield service company. Growing up I played every sport that was in season at Abilene Cooper After high school I attended ASU to play football and then later transferred to Sul Ross.
After college, I moved to Midland in 2004 to pursue a career in Oil Field sales. In 2005 I met and then later married Ashley McClellan. We have been married and living in Greenwood ever since 2007.
I worked for several service companies over the years which led me into a production position with John L. Cox where I worked up from a roustabout to eventually becoming a foreman. After a buyout, I shifted focus and worked for an environmental company for 5 years that represented Oil Field Companies and their rights to operate.
After gathering a unique perspective in several different fields and building an extensive customer base I was offered a position as operations manager with a leading service company that had 9 divisions, where I oversaw day-to-day operations and sales for the company.
The opportunity presented itself to go work with and for my family at Right Light Services.
As hard as it was to leave a place, I called home for over 2 years, I decided to accept an opportunity and become a partner with Black Rock Contractors
